Well done on buying into the land Rover Experience. But Man Steel sounds like it should be towing a float in the Mardi Gras.
Last night I put a deposit on "Man Steel", he is a 2000 Defender TD5 wagon , white, 93K, ARB bull bar and running boards, tow bar, electric brakes, excellent condition inside and out geniune one owner, full service history etc, for $25K, very happy. The minister for war and finance cannot see what is so good with "Man Steel" but then again our taste in cars is poles apart. I pick "Man Steel" up on Saturday afternoon, in the deal I am getting a full detail of the car and a full tank on Diesel.
Looking forward to many adventures.

Sounds like a tidy truck with low k's for a 10 yr old vehicle. Enjoy! And post some pics.
Well done sounds like a good unit. Enjoy your green oval adventures.

Well I picked the defender up on Saturday had a great drive home in it , I am so happy with it, I will post pics in the next week or two, it is raing heavy in Sydney today so pics will follow. Okay so the name has been changed to Henry
Thanks for all your replys
Allan
Sounds very similar to my Defender. Same age roughly same km's etc only mine was almost $10k cheaper. I was just lucky enough that the previous owner was an honest chap who went with what red book said and didnt realise he could have gotten so much more for it.
After it stops raining drain all the water out and have some fun.
The trouble is older models with low K's are very hard to find.
