LR D4 Bull Bar any fitted yet

This topic was battered to death before, but was wondering if anyone has had a Land Rover D4 bar fitted (ie are they available now)

My dealer told me that it had gone to UK a while ago for LR to approve it but nothing has been heard since.. Maybe LR to busy with other stuff. Must say seeing the pics again I don't think it looks too bad.

The last message I received near the end of September, was that they should be released "next month" (that being October).

My local dealer 'Southern Classic Land Rover' (Illawarra region) made enquires about the status of the OEM bar. Please find as follows the official reply from LRA.

After some exchanges with members of this forum, thanks Doug, I have decided to fit an ARB bar and winch to our LRD4 HSE on order.

Not at this point in time. Brett has been working with the UK on finalising the testing. I am awaiting feedback and will advise all dealers on an ETA asap.

Ken,

All my research to date had also lead me to the same conclusion as yours, but a member of this forum 'drowell' has successfully fitted the ARB bar to his LRD4 HSE. Seen he photos. Doug posted some images on this forum as evidence - I think. Whilst I am not exactly clear on the exact details, there were some minor mods required.
