Options for tuning V8

Well i did it, just bought a d3 v8 and as i have never had a stock car in my life i am wondering what tuning options there are for this motor. Im not after a generic tune im looking for software that i can tune myself or is there a LR specialist with a dyno and software who can do it for me.

What sort of results can i expect power wise from a tune and exhaust?

If the only option is an aftermarket ECU im pretty competent with Motec and have access to a dyno so can go that way but would prefer a simple flash
