Can I get under tray screws?

Driving past midnight a couple of weeks ago some inconsiderate person or group of drunks decided it was funny to leave a child's bike in the middle of the road. As it was dark and at 70kph didn't have enough time to swerve around it. Damage to D3 was minimal. Broken plate holder and lost some screws from the front under tray.

Not too worried about the plater holder but would like to secure the under tray with new screws if I can as it's dangling and I fear it's just a matter of time before it falls off.

Have done a search but can't seem to find just screws, is it just a case of dealer only option? hope not.

    Thanks

I have broken one on the twist clips that hold on the panels that cover the recovery point at the rear - I assume they are the type you are talking about so I also would be interested in where you can get them - dealer?

Sounds like they would be the same. I've got some screws from when I installed side-steps, will try them out and see if they fit. If that's a no go I will see if the dealer will sell me any. If they will they I'll get spares.

As Garry mentioned, they are not screws - they are twist clips. IIRC, they are about $5 each from the dealer.

mmm, I saw my old rear panel in the garage the other day....

I even found the original white front bumper skin from the vehicle before I put the arb on...

If any one wants either (or both) pm me... pickup Kingsford (Sydney NSW)

1/4 turn clip is DYR500010; retainer is DYF500010

The Land Rover parts numbers are as above and below.
The R part number is for the round pin that rotates; the F part number is for the fixed rectangular white plastic insert that holds the pin/clip.

I am a bit of an expert on these as the lower front pins shear off in the winter if I park too close into a snow bank. (Not many bicycles around on those days).

Some day, I will purchase the bash plate and solve the problem once and for all. In the mean time, I keep a few in stock.

The rear ones tend to shear off on a cold day if I try to access the rear tow hook too quickly.

I went into a stealer yesterday to get some clips - immediately told they were part of the plastic panel and had to be purchased as a complete item, bushido was my response and the guy went out and literally 5 secs later was back with two - was just under $4 each.

Have enquired at dealer, got a quote of $3.66 for clip and same for retainer. 'Coz I want 6 (1 spare), it'll be at least $45. I think I'll be getting them from Paddocks as it'll only 'coz about $15 landed.
