Disco wont start

Since we have taken the fuel tank out of our Disco Series1 3.5 we can't get it to start ?
Sounds like theres a problem with a relay somewhere just cant seem to find the right one. Does anyone have any suggestion.

Yup. Suggestion number one, check the wiring for the pump in the tank. Sometimes the plug isn't refitted properly and it jumps off. Use a multi meter and check for 12V while someone operates the starter. Check the connector over the muffler. Hotwire the pump plug from 12V to the two fatter wires and see if the pump still works. Check the fuel pump fuse. Etcetera.
