My Series 1 SWB in the Flinders Ranges on our way to Alice Springs via Maree and Oodnadatta, May 1975. After Alice we headed for Mt Isa via the Three Ways, then down through Winton, Longreach, Blackall, Charleville, Cunnamulla and Bourke, then we followed the Darling River back to Wentworth. The vehicle had the original four cylinder in it but I later fitted a 186 Holden with a Johnsons Conversion Kit.
There were four of us in this vehicle and what a fantastic trip it was.
The motorcycle on the trailer is a Honda SL100, approx 1972 model.
