Don't you have to store and use half of it in your glovebox. I would have thought a double din radio/gps to replace the original radio for half the price would be better and you get to keep your little cubby hole.

Has anyone tied one of these, eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d . Can get for a similar price to a VMS portable, runs WinCe 6.0 so will run Oziexplorer and an number of other GPS software.
I am only really interested in it for the GPS component, but could use a reversing camera for hitching the trailer.

Garrycol, could you suggest a decent Double Din Head unit ,with GPS that would replace my CD400 poverty pack sound system .
Ive got the standard 2 Din replacement Fascia mount and the Iso convertor , just need to pick out a good Head unit .

I have been looking at those too. Probably would have done something but have been in India the last 3 weeks, too much web surfing to kill time and too many options.
Hi, I have just bought an 06 Disco 3 SE and i have been looking at those Chinese GPS units too. I want to keep the cd400 in its spot and would really like the screen in the cubby hole. My last car had the USB port for music and I miss that heaps. I like the screen up higher because its easy too see and it looks built in with the logo and all. I also want a reverse camera and the Bluetooth function as well. I'm just worried how well it will hook into the system and whether it will work with the poverty stereo. I will connect the sound through the aux. My other GPS just sits in the hole but you have to manually turn it on and off and push a hole heap of buttons on start up.
Has anyone fitted these as yet?
Bevan
