    1997 discoverytdi turbo timer

I am a new member on forum, would be advantageous to fit a Turbo Timer to my Discovery to assist in preventing damage. I would like to say all info I've read so far has been very helpful regards lucky lozza.

IMO a turbo timer is illegal if you leave your vehicle running and walk away. A much better tool is an exhaust temperature gauge, e.g.:

eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

You can turn the engine off when the temp is under about 200C which is fast if you haven't just thrashed the ring out of it.
