    Well no Barra landed.

Had a hook up on the first session day one but dropped at the boat with a great tail dance all the way.

Had two other bust offs at the boat with two very nice size black jew swimming of into the mangroves.

But we did release many Mangrove jacks exept the ones that where smoked for lunch.

    Had a ball

Noice... thanks for sharing - great trip images.

Malcolm Douglas Memorial Crab dinner eh

Is that the 140 zuk on the back of the traily? Would be interested in you fuel burn numbers if you had them?

    Regards
    Steve

    Hi Steve,

The 140 Suzy is on Andys tub.

It is great on fuel but we wouldnt know burn rates as where just bush hacks who fill and go

It would use the same as my 90 Merc but my boat is a 540 and his is the 570.

Mate that looks amazing. What more could anyone want?

Ive watched many Malcolm Douglas adventures and he raves about how good an eating fish the mangrove jack is.

Maybe one day I might get to chuck one of my own on the coals

Definatly, Id take jacks over barra any day. Stuff onion and zuks, wrap pandanis leaves, hot sand 20min's, coal cooked crab claws entree, better than restraunt.
