It looks like a perch but I am not going to say golden perch as they are greener and with the yello only on the belly (aka yellow belly).
It could be a goldfish (carp).
Where did you catch it? What did you catch it on?
I think it might be a roach.

it's a juvenile golden perch, (Macquaria ambigua) sometimes referred to as yellow belly or callop. it's an australian native fresh water fish commonly found in the murray and darling river systems.
It is a Tench, introduced species. Just pulled research nets NW of Melb this morning which had 8 of the same.
