    80" headlight surround

    These surrounds are off R26660709.
    When I tried to remove the layers of paint I found they are not chrome plated, just plain brass.
    All others I have seen are chrome.
    Anyone come across this before?

    Pretty sure my Snowy ones are plain Brass. I will take some photo's when I get home.

    In the later Series one models definately but not in the 1950/1951 Snowy Vehicles.

    The later models had their headlight rims colour matched to the body colour!
