Photo might be a good idea - however the 0-90 bit makes me think that it's only something to do with fuel sender adjustments. ( ie so the normal petrol gauge can read the gas level correctly after switchover)
RPi Engineering - V8 Engines
Thats one of the half decent versions that seem to work well on rover v8's.
The short and rough explanation is the other way around: You set the engine up for LPG , and when you switch to petrol, the box interrupts the signal to the amplifier ( that thread re bosch amp..) and then sends it's own signal just a bit later - fooling the engine into thinking the timing is set for petrol.
