    RRS Bullbar - Engineering

Unfortunately no bull bars are made to fit the RRS. As the front underpinnings of the RRS is basically the same as the D3, I understand that a D3 bar will fit with minimal modifications - unfortunately the bar is complied for the D3 so is not legal on the RRS.

I have some pics of two different (AR bars on a RRS.

As I live in the ACT, I contacted ACT Tech Services and asked if a bullbar compliant for one vehicles can be engineered to be fit on an similar vehicle. There was no yes/no answer but I was told to ask an authorised engineer. I was a bit surprised as I thought that engineers would have been signing off on mods in accordance with policy not the other way around.

So - has any one been through an engineering process on a compliant bar so it can go onto another vehicle?

    Thanks

Good luck with that Garry - a lot of RRS drivers will be very interested in your results.
You certainly need a bull-bar around your neck of the woods - I was up there recently and had to dodge a few roos on an early morning drive out to Bungendore.......
