Clear Tube. Where can I get it

I want some clear tube to put LED strips in. Does any one know where in Victoria I can get this. It needs to be rigid not soft hose. Like the stuff in the link below. I have searched the web but have not been able find locally

Try searching on Acrylic (Perspex, Plexiglass), Polycarb.

I'd say there's a good chance you would get someone in Shepp. I got some frosted acrylic from a plastic fabricator in Shepp a few years back when doing a job up that way.

I have previously dealt with AB Plastics, got them to courier the stuff out.

Unless your looking for a small piece where the cost of the courier will be a limiting factor I'd say any of these would be able to help you.

I have also picked up acrylic sheets from Acrylic Sheet Form they are in

in qld there are rules governing red white amber and blue lights on cars, i would expect the same there.

How rigid do you need? Some clear flexible tubing would offer more impact resistance, for example.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I got a few lengths of clear 1/2 polycarbonate tube for work last year from Dotmar in Dingly. I think it was about $6 metre in 4 metre lengths

I get my clear tubing from Reece plumbing.
If you are having any issues I would be happy to ask my local Reece plumbing guy to get in contact with your local guy. It took quite a bit of effort initially for Reece to find a supplier.

I did the same thing when making some camping lights.

Got clear rigid tube from Home in North Geelong. They even turned up plugs/caps for the ends.

    see through tube

The last time I saw that tube, it was being used as see through drop tubes on a milking machine.
The strength of the tube wasn't a problem and that is with the meeting with occasional cranky cow factored in as well.

Now that I think of it I have seen electrical conduit in clear as well, middy's or other electrical supplier should be able to get it for you.

    here is another source http://www.app.net.au/products/electrical_cat.aspx?c=7
