When Land Rover said that the reaction to the new model has been overwhelmingly positive I have to think that they didn't actually ask anyone...

Are they cameras or lights in the side mirrors. If they want to the on Toyota they better be cameras. Better do some clever marketing on dealerships as well.

I have to admit I find it hard to get excited about the DC100. Looking at the range of land rovers on the second page, they are all becoming the same size and shape. I have driven many Freelanders and had a good look over an Evoke. And though they may be a good small to medium car, they simply aren't big enough. I can't see me ever fitting into such a size till I retire and the kids are gone. And they are too pricy for the wife's runaround.

They seem to be happy marketing couples, or couples with one child imo.

I don't see either a trayback single cab or double cab. With the ban on carrying farm chemicals in closed vehicles there goes a large part of their possible market.

I like the description of the 2015 defender as " appealing to sub-sahara African buyers as to cost of ownership, @ ease of maintainence", @ that it should be " functional, durable, @ affordable." They are targeting the hi-lux market , about time they woke up. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
