    7.50 r 16 tyres....HELP!

I am interested in getting a set of 7.50 r 16 tyres, but I am curious as to whether or not they will go on Range Rover Vogue rims? I have a gorgeous set of Vogue rims on my Defender, and Id rather stick with them than the steelies the tyres come with

Am assuming that you have a set of alloys from a Vogue classic (rather than P38a or L322 Vogue). They are a 7" rim while the Defender rims are usually 6".

Yes you can fit 7.50 tyres to them however there were only a small number of alloys that were rated for the Defender and they are the ones fitted to both the Disco 1 and Defender Xtreme.

There are also many radial tyre sizes equivalent to the diameter of the 7.50 16 that are better for the 7" rims.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

While they will fit most tyres coming in the 7.50R16 format these days are light truck style tyres where as the decimal equivalents (
235/85 R 16) have a wider variety of construction speed and load rates.

you'll be working the sidewalls a bit with the 7.5's on a 7 inch wide rim and ID suggest that a slightly wider profile tyre will behave better on the wider rim

    Agree 100%...

235/85/16 in any brand that strikes your fancy is definitely the way forward on those Rangie alloys, maybe even 255/85/16 if you feel adventurous!
