Early LR serial numbers
To all...I have a LR in the 'resting paddock' at the property. I am trying to ascertain its age/vintage. Details: CAR No. 153000165. BODY No.1293. SER. No.109 1293(Pressed Metal Corp. Ltd-Sydney) How best to advertise it for sale...(And price)? Regards wato

Advertise it as a 1960 model Series II 109" wheelbase, first sold to Rusconi Bros 6/12/1959 original engine number 151002518 (present/not present)!
With a few piccies which we'd all like to see! 
Ebay has the largest buyer base.
You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
