Disco4 off road navigation

Hi all, I'm having trouble understanding my in car navigation system. My Dad has a navigation system that he put together using oziexplorer and I know that he sits in bed and plots his waypoints on his lap top and then uploads these waypoints into his navigator. I have been with him in his 4x4 and it works really well. My question is---- can I do the same thing with my in car system in the disco4?
I have phoned Land Rover but the man on the phone said he didn't know either but would get back to me. He hasn't as yet.

Barry, I am trying to similar in the Evoque - including adding topo maps - I'll let you know of any outcome!
