			Veg oil/Bio diesel in Td5's

					Hello all.

Having lived in the UK, I'm well used to the joys of pouring veg oil (canola oil) into my diesel VW Golf and 200 Tdi LR without any problems. With diesel pricing over here it hadn't bothered me untill now.. I'm thinking of getting the 3 x 1 meter cubed stillages on the go again... One for use, one for collection and one for settling.. Have been looking into the correct way of mixing it so it can be used without problem but want to know if the Td5 will run it without problem.. (here might be another reason to drop the TD42 in....)! Thanks!

Used to know of a D2 run on it since brand new, apparently the owner never had a problem that i'm aware of. They did however install extra CAV filters, a fuel warmer and an additional water trap. I last saw the car with just under 200000km's on it and had a fairly easy life towing a horse float up and down the state every weekend. Not my car so thats all I can tell you.

That's good to know. Yes re more filters, but hoping to get mine very clean and thinned enough not to need the heater.. Td5 does this to a certain extent anyway. Thanks!
