    Salisbury diff housing non abs

Can a sal's diff housing non ABS be converted to ABS ?

Is the ABS component a bolt on in the stub axels or part of the housing ?

yes, as far as I can make out by the Date stamps on the housing & crown wheel my 04 Def has a Salisbury from a 94 model, ABS and Traction Control all hooked up & looks like a factory job.

with the sals you will have to drill the hole for the sensor through the stub axle mounting flange on the end of the axle tube, precisely in bore size so the sensor tube and sensor bush fit properly, and obviously in the right spot. i have some sensor tubes made up, so it would just an easy task to mark out and drill away
