Whats the best way to go about using a hilift jack with a disco 2?
are there any points where its best to use it, or some other way?

The problem with these are that they are actually intended to be used with steel wheels - as per the manufacturers photographs

Not 100% on their use with Disco 2 alloys...
Ive used them with disco alloys with no problems. The lift mate has a rubber coating on the hooks which is good to protect paint. When it wears off though, a rag works just as well to prevent scratches. Ive used mine the most in the driveway (putting in sls air springs and the like) at the moment though- and yes I'm careful and understand that a high lift can fall over and .......
