water seperator to 90 td5

could anybody tell me how to connect a recor filter prior to existing filter on a td5 which fuel line do i connect too

The 90 / 110 TD5 Fuel Filter already had a water separator built in.
Why don't you just crack it now & again to let any water out.

You could even buy a Discovery TD5 sedimenter switch for it instead of the Plain Jane Defender drain plug & wire the contacts to a idiot light to let you know if it needed draining..

Dont mess with the factory system, its very effective... You'll only add another complexity.

Try and use quality, high turnover fuel stations is a good start.

And as mentioned, factory filter has a separator, just crack it open occasionally.
