Once again we have a new winch bar out for defenders .
The pic's below show it fitted to a 2000 perenti .
    Price is $1450.00 but in
saying that bulk buy will always help.

Am interested so will have to have a look in the piggy bank before my tentative trip to Qld on June LWE.

On the bar, how would it comply with ADR using a roller fairlead?

Just to be pedantic, the Defender in the image is a remediation TD5 and not a 110 perentie.

(You know what would be really good, would be if the bar had a Hi-Lift jack mount behind the uprights the same as the LRPV perentie has!)

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Using a roller fairlead is no probem as we just ad the fairlead coverplate.
As for not being a perenti you maybe right ,but on the owners paper work it states that it is a perenti.

Oh nice.. What thickness steel is it made from?

    Re the winch rollers:

Minor protrusions forward of the bull bar or bumper bar such as a spotlight, or fairleads required for the operation of a winch, are permitted providing the protrusion is the minimum necessary and is blunt or protected to minimise any risk of injury to vulnerable road users.
    From: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registrati...s_nov_2007.pdf

I don't know if a roller is considered 'minor'.. they have specifically mentioned fairleads..

Brutus: 1969 109 ExMil 2a FFT (loved and lost)
