    Lure Prices

I was getting peeved at the prices in Australia for freshwater and Saltwater lures so lately I've been group buying lures from this site LandBigFish - Fishing Tackle Martketplace me and my fishing buddies buy all at once then split the freight costs. The rapala lures on that site start at $5.50 US and the same lure here in Aus is upwards of 20 bucks. Now that we have parity with the U.S I'm gunna stock up.

Great idea. I always end up buying a few lures at the last minute before going away and paying $20 each. I feel slightly violated each time, so I will purchase a bunch and keep them ready for future trips.

"Air shipping and handling will be 20% to 40% of the total order with a minimum shipping charge of $30.00."

Not worth doing a group - shipping is a % of total cost. So you will never save anything grouping orders together (assuming you order at least 4-5 lures at a time to break the $30 mark).

Thanks for the link though! I hadn't thought of buying lures online...

We order a few hundred dollars each when we do a group buy and save a truck load, spliting the freight between us

I placed my order today, between the 2 of us we ordered 30 lures. The whole lot was $250 Inc Delivery( $25 each for delivery) which is approx $8.30 for each lure. I know that those lures are $20+ each here,

    This is what I received

Forgot to post up what I'd purchased. They came just in time for the Eildon trip.
