Defender truck cab onto RRC chassis
Just a question for the landy / rangie wizards.
I have a spare 93 defender ute cab in my shed and a 4.4 rrc which was put on its side and came out worse for it.
I am wondering at how difficult or even possible it would be to put a defender truck cab onto this chassis as a 100" defender would be nice.
Any help would be appreciated.

If I had what you have in the shed There would be nothing stopping me,
In fact its on my list of things to do after we relocate interstate.
Whilst cleaning up for the move I just found an old LRO magazine that was stashed away in the roof, from 1989 containing an article I did on a very similar project. It was the days before the internet & at the time I believe it was the first of its kind , but there was no info exchange like these is nowdays so I might be wrong.
here is a scan of the article you might find some details of use,
( yeah ok I used a bit of artistic license, theres no way it would do 110mph , I thought thayd edit that out along with my other spelling mistakes)
Interesting to note the price of a 110 County 3.9D then was $46,995 , Wow they havent gone up much in 25 years !!!

Cheers for all the assistance,
I'll start prepping the rangie for the ute cab this weekend.
I'll take lots of pics of the progress and start a build thread for people to follow if their interested.
I'll just have to move the 3.9 Isuzu 130 out of the way in the shed.. Never have to many defenders around.
