Hi Dan, I fitted a Parrot Asteroid which was great till it died I've replaced it with a Pioneer unit. For the wiring you need an ISO to <stereo brand you buy> adapter, this should be readily available at a car audio store.

    Cheers,

Like Tim said, the Puma is fitted with an ISO socket / plug, so what ever radio you get will either an ISO plug / socket or a patch lead to suit the radio you buy. There are quite a few different radios with ISO plugs and front USB plugs available.

The likes of Jacar sell both radios with ISO sockets or patch leads for some other radios.

I picked a pioneer unit with everything it, and bought the adapter from Supercheap for under $15, only problem was that they had 2 different connectors for the Pioneer unit, so you just need to know which connector your stereo, or do as I do and take it back and swap it for the correct one.

This was by far the easiest stereo I had ever installed, didn't even need the soldering iron.

If you just want the usb connection and nothing extra, just get an FM transmitter, dont have to mod anything, can play whatever you want through the built in system. Mine follows me from car to car and charges my iphone at the same time. costs about $70 from JBhifi or DS.
