    Fitting Floors & Trans Tunnel.

I'm ready to fit these but am wondering if there is a secret technique or particular order to follow that doesn't scratch too much paint or make me damage my spleen.

Should I remove any of the various levers to make it easier?

AND, what are those two holes under the drivers & passenger seats? The ones with two smaller holes on either side. Inspection hatches? If so, how are they closed?

The rear edge of the tunnel cover goes over the top of the lip on the seat box, and over the front flywheel housing cover attached to the firewall. Slip the 4wd lever through the hole as you drop it on. You look to not have the captive nuts on these at box edge for the screws to fasten in to.

As for the holes under your drivers and passenger seat they are holes for tank dipsticks.

Dipsticks! Of course! That's an ex-army seat box!

I have new stainless steel M8 captive nuts but it looks like they're not enough. I may resort to aluminium rivnuts if I run out.
