    Fitting a Brake Controller

    Is there any problems fitting a HR Brake Controller to a TDi5 S2 myself or get a sparky

    Depends on how confident and competent you are. Not too difficult. I did my D1.
    Fitting instructions and diagram is available on the HR website. However if you have to ask, then maybe you need to get someone to do it for you.

    Brake controller

    Hey Mate.

    Yeah, I fitted a Redarc brake controller to My TD5 Disco, it was easy, a bit time consuming (although I'm quite anal and made sure everything was neat and perfect!)
    It came with a wiring diagram, and I tapped into the brake light pedal switch which was right near where I mounted the box.

    I personally preferred the red arc unit as it had a remote switch, so I could mount the controller box under the dash, out of the way.
