Colin Edwards has a BMW engine in his CRT Suter chasis Motogp bike too. He mentioned that the power delivery was fairly severe though

I love them and used to have several R series including my last R1150GS but I never expected for the brand to take so seriously the sport category.
Looking for the first time (after few years) the WSB races I was surprised how well they are doing beating the other brands on the last two races
I just wonder if the inputs on the development of them by our own Troy crser have something to do with it?
Very impressive machine the only nit it is that the tail shaft is missing

Hmm, Shane Suter has come up in the world, I remember racing against him years ago on speedway, before he went into road racing and the world champs.
He was damned fast.
Pedro, belts are fine as long as it's not the Harley versions, seen lots of them strip teeth on the entire belt length.
Almost agree with the sentiments about the missing shaft on BMW's though, almost. The first wife didn't like it much when I used the kitchen oven to do a little heating to fit a new set of diff gears once
Traded it in on a better wifeCurrent model did her first laps around Nurbergring, sitting on the battery box of her fathers touring car at age 10, she's got a much better attitude to "fun".
