    Roof rack flood lights

What do y'all think about this?
I got a set of 35w LED flood lights and am thinking of putting them on my canopy,
They are only just visible if you crane your neck in the drivers seat.
Yes I will attach them a little more permanently than just with cable ties

Apart from being illegal, I think that especially being floods, the glare off the bonnet would be fairly bad...

why "illegal"? turn them on where to make them illegal might be a diferent question perhaps.

Several dozen nice police people have commented on my roof rack mounted LED bar. None yet have booked me. Glare off bonnet is Zero on mine as well. Glare off bull bar might be an issue if your silver. A SA police person had a very good look and asked how to buy one when visiting your fine state Basil. It might be illegal but then again perhaps it is where you use it that might make it so.

Hi Basil and while in some states a few years back, roof mounted lights were illegal, they are now legal in most if not all states.

BTW, you can thank Jeep/Chrysler for getting the ADRs changed and for the different states changing their respective laws.
