    Thumbs up for Scoot

My wife and a friend have just returned from a holiday in Singapore. They flew with the budget Singapore airline, Scoot FlyScoot.com: We're gearing up for adventure

On the way over, my wife's friend became quite ill - not just airsick. There was a cardiologist on board and he attended, checked her over, and sat with them for the rest of the flight (probably to his wife's annoyance ).

When they arrived in Singapore, the whole flight crew, i.e., captain, co-pilot, and all the cabin staff, stayed with my wife and her friend until, after a long delay, a wheelchair arrived - it was supposed to be a stretcher but there had been a misunderstanding. The British captain came back and sat and chatted with them whilst they waited.

My wife was very impressed with the way the stewardesses handled the situation, moving other pax so the friend could lay down, washing out the friend's blouse which had been covered in vomit, etc. (Another passenger gave her a T-shirt to wear. He was going on to Thailand and wouldn't accept any payment for the shirt).

On their way back today, I just got to the airport in time to see their plane taxi past — so I grabbed my camera for a quick shot.
