Can you imagine the average punter trying to reverse that, Digger?

It's that without a steerable front axle at times.

I do admit I find a semi easy to do but sometimes embarrass myself with a "tinky trailer"

I have a very small box trailer that's prone to embarrass me, it can't be seen behind a 4x4 until it's too late.

At Nissan casting in Dandenong they have a tow vehicle ( same as the airport ones that tow stuff around ) that towed a large 20 ton capacity special built trailer that was front steer. Was a interesting time learning to back that around corners, down narrow passages etc.

Hi All
At least it has the lockout setup so you can make it ridgid if you have too - yes i have been embarrassed by an army trailer. I can back two dogs around a corner but couldnt back that thing

That Trailer was build and owned by a guy in Briagolong Victoria about 30 years ago. He used it for dragging around his Tractor Pull Tractor.
I bought the trailer from him to drag a Hill climb car around for about $1500 if memory serves me correct.
I then sold it a guy in Melbourne. That was in about 1984. Originally it was green.
It had no suspension on the stub axles and bounced like crazy empty. Once loaded it wasn't to bad.
Reversing it was a real drama you could lock the front in with a pin but it still was still a major effort. Without the pin it was easier to be honest.
Interesting how after all these years it pops up on ebay.
