Smile New job comes with landrover fans

Strange but true. Have started at a place with a number of land rover enthusiasts working there. One bloke was one of the first with a range rover in Australia. His mate pre ordered one before they were in oz, kept it a short while then sold it to this bloke and got the next model. He also had several series land rovers. Another owns a disco and some there are just fans of land rovers. Makes a nice change to turn up to a place and they all enthuse over the ute.

Hmmm . . . maybe you should be worried that you've somehow joined this "special" group? Did an unmarked van take you to the job interview?

Seriously, I'm envious, and wouldn't mind working with people who at least knew what a Land Rover was!
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

we had a new guy start at work and while he is a toyota owner(its actually a 3 door prado so kinda different) hes not terribly obnoxious.
He brought in a magazine DVD to show me something and then offered to let me take it home to watch the rest.
not wanting to instantly alienate him/me I said sure,,
Brought it back the next day and when he asked if I enjoyed it I said it was ok,,

next day he brought in 45 magazine DVDs---
