Land Rover Defender Yachting Edition | Supercharged

Latest collaboration between Land Rover and the German tuner Startech presented at the Essen Motorshow, this beautiful Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting Edition directly inspired by the world of sailing. Offered in a beautiful white livery equipped with SVX grille and aluminum wheels in 16 inch floor 275/65 R 16, its interior is more that really catches the attention. Besides blue leather Recaro seats look great, as well as many other interior trim, there is a unique flooring teak yacht so that seems straight out of a shipyard. for second I thought they would have changed nothing, just the way it will leak will have you thinking your on a boat.

I like it, particularly the colour coded rear cross member. Revers camera also looks smart. In two minds over the white stitching though.

Oooh I want a reversing camera in mine...

Not too sure how I feel about the colours used in this one.. the white back to the seats just made me cringe thinking about keeping them clean.. same with the leather covered dash.. The floor panelling is interesting..

Teaks a great idea. Pull out the seats, in with the hose & out with the mud/sand.

Settle there dobbo, it's only marketing. Do you think the gentry at yaught club have any desire to take it further than the boat ramp, that's even if LR can persuade them to trade in the RR.

Still I'd give hats off and a big wave to a keen buyer driving it off road somewhere. You know us pathetic Tdci drivers do get out and about. Out of the 6 or 7 defenders I spotted on a recent inland Aus trip, 2xTd5's, the rest were Tdci's. Not one of the older faithfuls to be seen. Perhaps just bad timing.

Being a yachting edition at least you wouldn't need a snorkel to cross any rivers as you'd just sail across.

If that's the case, maybe the teak is for bouyancy .
