Question 32" tyres - Opinions please

I'm looking at sticking some 32 11.5 15 Bridgestone dueler D694 A/T's on my S3 186 powered land rover. (the rest of the running gear is standard as far as i'm aware) with no o/d.

I have the same type of tyres on my 07 ford ranger, they seem pretty good (obviously they are a fair bit smaller though).

has anyone put them on a landy? what are you opinions?

O and they look like they will cost roughly $320/tyre fitted etc.

You won't need a gym membership if you fit those, you will get a nice upper body workout taking it for a drive.

Great! I can kill two birds with one stone....
I have 31 10.5 15s on now.... they are pretty reasonable, even the mrs can drive it on flat ground... as long as she can still drive on the road it'll all be ok.

They will be fine for most situations, but could get a bit hard in a tight shopping centre carpark I would think.

I'm running 32" BFG Mud Terrains and have had no problem. The speedo is about 3-5% out but it's not really an issue.

What Tyre pressures would anyone suggest for highway/offroad on these tyres.

I have the LWB Holden conversion. (originally a RL 6Cyl)

I checked the pressures in the tyres from the tyre mob.... they had 44psi in them! wow they are hard.

Let them down to 36psi all round... slightly better on the highway. Surely someone can tell me what they run in similar tyres! Please?

I think you may have answered your own question. 44PSI too hard, 36 is better - you will be cloes to the mark with that I would say. Somewhere between 35 and 40 would be fine I think.

Got any pics of how they look?

    Cheers - Gav
