    101 Headlights

Undercoated the engine cover so onto the front. Removed the headlights and started removing the front chassis rail today.

Cando sill has the standard 24V headlights, you just about need the torch to make sure there are on.
What have people done with theirs to give good lighting and maintain fairly original look?

    Cheers, Peter

Pop in some Hella 7" H4's and put in 24V globes.

When I got my 101 I thought it had great lights and I put it down to the high seating position looking down on things.

However then I got a rock through one light and I realised that I had H4 Halogens with 130/100w (24v) globes - sort of explained why I had such great lights.

I had trouble finding the 130w globes so just bunged in the 65w/60w globes and the lights are still OK.

As Mick said just go H4 Halogens - cheap and work well - actually I am surprised you do have them already.
