110 Single cab trays

I've decided to downsize the giant agricultural tray on my single cab 110 to a standard tub or preferably HCPU tray, but so far have had no luck from all the wreckers I've tried. My eventual aim is to have a canvas canopy for it too.

Would anyone know the best spots to look in Perth? I've tried Linn Rover and a few wreckers around the Midland area.
I'm a bit sick of this tray. Along with an extended tow bar, it makes over a foot of overhang past the rear cross member and becomes a real struggle to park plus it ruins the departure angle!
Any inputs would be great

What about cutting the tray shorter?? Looks to be an ally job
Hcpu bodies are longer than the crossmember iirc but do bolt on easily
Standard single cab bodies fit but it's a lot of spanner work and parts find if
Your not handy with LR bodies ( cab rear panel needed)
I would be tempted to find a s111 rear SW body cut 100 mm of the front make
A panel to close off and bolt that on

They had one at Triumph rover spares in Adelaide a while back probably still there freight is not that expensive and they ship allver Australia.

Just had a look on the TRS website they have lots of trays didnt see a style side tub but they do have and a 2 door wagon/van body in good nick.

The idea of a 2 door wagon would be great; that's actually what I wanted when I was looking at buying. But when my ute came up I grabbed it quick (no regrets though ).
I've looked at putting in the back end of a series but the advice I got was although it could be done, the rear would be too narrow and "wouldn't look quite right".
I have a feeling that shipping a tray from Adelaide might push it out of my price range unfortunately, but I've had a look at their site. Is there anywhere in Perth that big??

You could cut your tray shorter and get a solid canopy.
It would probably weigh less than a full wagon an be more flexible.

I had a 110 def ute converted to wagon
My brother and I lifted the whole rear end and roof of a county fully lined
But no doors ourselves onto a trailer
Heavy but at least half the weight of the tray i took off

That is incorrect. It is the same width and will bolt up MOSTLY
You need to be handy with spanners and fabrication LR style

Cheapest option is to cut tray shorter
To me the most interesting option is a rear ute/panel an body cut shorter at the front so as to not interfere with the existing body and sat on the factory

Just remember the rego may say cab chassis not ute
Doesn't worry me but some web wheelers love that sort of drama

Bunbury 4WD wreckers had a 130 TDI with an alli tray not sure if it will fit but surely close.
