    unimportant observational whinge...

Why is everything Id like to buy on the wrong side of Melbourne lol
When I was cabinet hunting, some great deals on the lower eastern side
When I was kitchen table hunting, some lovely settings around the lower easter suburbs
When I was horse hunting, all the good deals way down south
And now Im outdoor setting hunting, some lovely and unique well priced settings again, all on the wrong side of Melb

when i was a lad going to school a woman who lived on the outer northside of brisbane was so terrified of driving thru the city center of brisbane she took a 2 hour drive taking only right hand turns (she couldnt see left very well) to drop her two kids off at school at rosalie..

no idea how long it would take her to get home or how long she was there before she had to set off on the right hand only trip to pick them up...

    i kid you not...

right.. hand.. turns.. wow, the worst way to go.

The two ford shoppings were the wrong side too, then there was the tas trip (though in was ok, early morning, just out on the homeward journey was fun)

It's funny but getting out of sydney with the disco didn't bother me near so much a anything to do with Melbourne.

ah well will continue to window shop!

It's those dicky right turns from the left lane in the city that confuses people.

My motto when driving anywhere is "When in Rome drive as Roman do". Just go with the flow and imitate the way locals drive and you'll be right.

Geez, what are you complaining about? Everything I want is either on the other side of the country, or the other side of the world, or is in a bikini and won't talk to me!
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

God, what is the problem. Nowhere in Victoria other than Mildura is more than a mornings drive from Melbourne. From Brisbane, 3 1/2 hours only gets you to Goondiwindi, Chinchilla, or Maryborough.
