    I've got a feeling there was an Australian Story segment on a similiar outcome here in NSW ? somewhere a couple of years ago.
    Similiar scenario, bloke a vegetable was given a similiar (or same) drug with a remarkable outcome.
    Got a feeling it worked for a while but became less effective with time.
    Never the less it gave a hugely better quality of life to all concerned.
