    Identify these 2 parts of my '94 110 300Tdi

    Anyone konw where these go?

I have stripped out the whole interior, dash and aircon so they must be from inside somewhere... I think?

Damn! I was hoping it didn't go behind the dash seeing as I had already put that back. I noticed the wiper motor had quite a bit of movement and could not be keept tight against the firewall with the bracket. Is this just a insert between the motor and the bracket? I built up he bracket with butyl tape and it holds the wiper motor prety tight now. Do I need to change to this part?

I take it the check strap cover is for the rear door?

    Thanks for the help

One more question, I'm replacing the flexible hoses (one at each front wheel and one on the rear before it branches off to the rear wheels) with braided hoses.

When I fit the new ones do I need to use some sort od sealant or thread tape to ensure a airtight connection?

    Definately NOT
Just fit them and do them up,and bleed the brakes.

The checkstrap cover is for the front doors. Goes over the metal retainer that stops the door from opening too far.
