Question Wiring help please -2012 defender

I should start by saying that I'm scared of vehicle wiring because I have no clue...
Got an exbox from mulgo and decided instead of relocating the ECU, to use the space other 12v toys.
I'm busy installing an ARB air compressor which would also operate an ARB diff lock(s) at some point in the future.
My question is where is the easiest and or recomended place to connect into?
(is there something available under the seat? Closest to the exbox location)

    Thanks in advance

Don't stress about the wiring or the exbox it's really straight forward and your compressor will be so much quieter under the seat with less heat.

You can't really go wrong with moving all the wiring from under the seat as it will only plug in one way. If you take your time and take pics before you start you wont look back. I fitted up a few fuse blocks into the exbox at the same time to plug the accessories like compressor into and it gives easy access if a fuse goes.

If you do end up putting the compressor in the exbox the best place to tap into is under the passengers seat straight onto the battery.

Good luck and if you get stuck there are lots of people happy to help.

I had my Ecu moved into the exbox. The whole idea is to have your Ecu higher in case you flood your car. Once moved you have a heap of space under drivers seat to use.
I thought about doing it myself but had one look and took it to an auto elec.
I have my compressor under rear seat next to the left door. I find it is a good spot for it.
Its well ventilated & unlikely to get too hot.
I'm gonna use the space under seat for 1St aid, jumper leads & other things that need a home.

    Good luck with it.
