    110 Polyair Bags

Just fitted some Polyair bags to the defender quite an easy job about 1 ½ hours. I welded the top plates on rather than bolted, I think it looks neater and was a hell of a lot easier than drilling.
One thing that I'm concerned about is what happens to the articulation even when there is no pressure in the bags, it will still come to a point that they will compress the remaining air, Will I need to remove the valve stems when going off road ?

I used to on my RRC with no ill effects, or you could fit a bridge with a valve between the two bags.
I also tried this but couldn't get it not the leak.
    I never had one pinched.
I now drop mine to about 2PSI, and I will drop the valves out if I go on an off road only trip.
    Regards Philip A

yep, agree with Phillip - I have ploy airs in the back of my Puma and remove the valves for tough off road sections - just be sure that no muck can get in with the vales removed - depends on where you have mounted the valves a bit, most put them up by the fuel filler

The bridge idea is good....just make sure they are NEVER joined on road or at speed.
