    Lining the tub?

Proud owner of a new 110 HCPU. Halfway through a build project on our property so the tub gets plenty of use hauling tools, cement, gravel and other building materials. Needless to say the thin paint on the floor of the tub is just wearing off. So probably a bit late for this now, but we're looking to line the tub. Our other ute has an aftermarket hard plastic liner but this is not available for a Land Rover.

So we are thinking of lying a heavy rubber (say 5-6 mm thick) mat cut to fit the floor of the tub. But what do we do we do about the sides or tailgate. How do we fix the rubber, screwed, rivetted or glue? Has anybody done/tried this and can advise?

    Cheers

Hey Dobbo, do you know how the Rhino liner goes as a sound insulator?

Rhino liner x 2 for me. Great stuff. I've got Liner-X in the back of my Lada ute. Best thing I ever did. Been there over 10 years & no problems . Yes a good sound deadener as well
