Welcome. I assume we are talking about Discoverys as you have posted in the Series Landy area.

As a prior owner of petrol, Diesel and now LPG vehicles, the easy answer is

    Water.

How much water are you going near? The more water, the diesel (with snorkel) looks better. I'm not talking about wading depth but spray. If you want rockclimbing, then petrol. Economy - LPG.

BTW don't worry too much about posting in the wrong section - a moderator should move it into the Disco section soon.

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section. Still getting used to actually posting for once, is much easier browsing!
I would like something as an all rounder but don't really think I'd b goin thru any river crossings in the near future so just mainly using for everyday driver and the odd day off the bitumen... hopefully!
Will at least b liftin 2" and slightly bigger tyres but nothin too macho to start with. More of a tourer u could say but I'm sure ill b posting my new additions as we go along.

    Cheers...

Get the best of both worlds, buy a turbo diesel then add LPG fumigation. 10% cost saving or a useful 25% power increase available.

Or buy the V8 just for the exhaust note
