    Bathurst 100

    the V8's take 160 laps to cover the 1000km

    a group of us are planning to do a 16lap 100km criterium on the mountain......

    soo who is in

    keep in mind this grand plan was hatched at the third pub during our annual (23 years it been going for) pub crawl

    Sounds like a top race, but a bit tuff for the likes of me I am afraid. I bet you get a few DNFs.

    I would love to see a resumption of the real Bathurst 100 (miles) held every Easter for Formula Libre open wheel race cars. The 100 was nearly the No.2 race on the motor sport calendar after the Australian Grand Prix.

    Perhaps our various historic racing, autosportsmen, and GEARS clubs could forget their dislike (fat chance) of each other and get together to run a non-CAMS Bathurst 100 for historic open wheelers?
