    New Drivers side wing mirror needed

    Came out this morning to find some kind person had smashed my wing mirror off. A builder over the road saw it happen, the Lady stopped got out then got back in and drove off he didn't get her rego unfortunately.
    Rant over

    Struggling to find a replacement in Aus. Am I better off just getting one from a breakers in the UK? Tried a few land rover parts palces with no luck... Currently rocking the 'broken mirror gaffa taped into housing' look

    Exactly the same happened to me - perhaps it was the same woman?

    Is the housing broken, or has the mirror and the mounting been smashed?

    If it's the former, you're probably better off hunting one in the UK as the ones over here are made of solid gold and then sprayed black - well, you'd think so at some of the prices I've seen. If you need a replacement mirror and mount then Island 4x4 are good on price and speedy on delivery (and you get to buy a few more essential for the beastie)

    Is just the glass or the entire mirror housing and all?

    Glass and plastic mounting clips are real cheap on ebay UK. For a housing I would call TRS in Adelaide if its urgent or go ebay UK or Matar the p38 dismantler on ebay Aus.

    I've got a spare RHS housing with mirror in the shed. From memory it has a slight crack in the pastic underneath but not visible in normal positioning. Will take a look tonight. PM me your details and I can email a few pics and you can let me know what you think it's worth.
