    BRC Sequent in...

... And awesome. Will post some pics. Only thing is guage shows 2 green lights instead of 4 so it may need calibration although how to do that I don't know.

More torque with the Crow tow cam and head work. She pulls hard to the red line too which is sweet. Great set up with injectors on a very short run to inlets... Maybe 5 inches.

    Seamless changeover, both ways!

    Cheers

Its not in the manual, but does anyone know whether there is truth in the following I have read:

For emergency LPG start up you turn ignition on and then hold the gas button down for 5 seconds until the changeover light starts flashing orange the then crank it? I have read you can do this 5 times until the ECU needs re-setting. I would have thought this was a handy thing if your petrol pump for eg goes out to lunch. I wont try it but if I ever need it it would be nice to know its available.

Purchase a tuning cable and software and keep it handy. They are available on ebay. As for emergency starting, the number of times you are allowed would be set by the software. Zavoli injection has no limit. I have no experience with BRC software so you may need to talk to your installer.

Most likely. All the softwares I have played with have a section for entering values for other than standard sensors. You may have to remove your sender (NB not the whole valve unit, just the electrical part!) and manipulate it through its range and note the resistance at zero, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full and enter these values in the table provided. I wonder why your installer didn't do this. Probably an oversight.

Thanks mate. I might just get them to do it at the first service. The system is the Plug and Drive - not cheap but a beauty. Fully emulates ecu including fuel shut off on overrun and in vehicles that stutter injectors as part of a traction control strategy (d2 only brakes wheels as far as I can tell. On coasting it does the overrun cut off too) it will do the same on LPG.

Can't quite tell from the pics but the gas ECU's I have seen have a preferred "this way up" about them (for water splash), IE wiring harness plugs at the bottom, an upside-down label doesn't strike me as quite right.

Just went and had a look - alloy at the top and a huge black cassette that goes in the bottom (with a bloody big loom coming out of that cassette)...so looks good. Dont know why the sticker is as it is.

    Cheers
