Cordless Sabre saw

Hi Guys.
The Mrs wanted a cordless sabre saw for garden pruning(she is a school gardener and does gardening work for customers).
We were going to get one that used the same batteries as mine,just buying the "skin" only.
Turns out the tool was too heavy for what she does.
I bought her one of these yesterday for Xmas,she already is using it,had to tell her to leave my olive trees alone.Awesome bit of gear.

Looks good, like the SDS blade.
personally I hate my 240v saber saw mostly because its a pain to change blades and in reality dosent cut very much faster than a hand saw.

I have a cordless saw, always carry it in the car, takes up no room & never needs recharging. $7.87 at Bunnings

The Mrs has issues with her wrists that cause her pain when using secatuers or hand saws for prolonged periods.This tool will make her pruning jobs MUCH more pleasant.

I have two sabre saws, one battery operated and the other a mains powered unit.

I'm sorry I ever wasted my money buying them. If you can't get the foot hard up against the job and can't hold the work rigidly, the blade just seems to oscillate the job without cutting.

Sabre saws make removing old bush shells which have rusted to the chassis much easier. That's all I've used mine for. The next use will be some very difficult to access roof timbers that need to be cut out.

Its one of those tools I can not live with out. I had corded, but with the new batteries these days no need. My old Bosch cut the flange off the bottom of my Sals diff. I use them for all sorts of demo/reno work. Yes it helps to have the foot up against something, but not always possible. Given a range of different blades and some experience using them, there isnt much you cant do with one. Im now on the Hilti 22v gear and used it for the 1st time the other day.....job done

Using the Bosch Keo; has a good tooth branch holder to stop it vibrating around, which can be taking off if not required.
