Said goodbye to the D3 today

BUT, luckily only for a few days.

Needed to stay back at work for a few days extra, so the D3 and camper trailer got the express ride.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Will be the best fuel economy ever from the D3 I reckon

Slight change in holiday destination, but any holiday is a good one

Actually, I did wonder how many people would see it on the truck and think "Another broken Landrover"..

Luckily not this one, and the offer of the express ride on the truck was to good to refuse.

Wont the D3 get a headache travelling backwards?

I always do when I travel backwards on a train!

    Have a great holiday.

Hopefully people will realize that it's reversed on with the trailer still hooked up and see it for what it is,,, an awesome vehicle catching itself a free ride

Looks a good set up Ean and it looks like you are happy with it. Working is a bugger isn't it? get's in the way of having a good time in this great country of ours.
    Cheers,
    John.

    Gday John,

Yep we are happy with it, there are far more expensive camper trailers on the market, but that set up suits what we do perfectly.
Work always has its drawbacks, but the company I now work for are good, and in the end it was my call to do the extra days, didn't see the point in spoiling someone's new years to fly up here and do a job that im here already doing.

What goes around comes around me thinks, and am sure it will come back my way when I need it.

    Cheers Ean
