I have never seen the need to rev above 3500 with a manual particularly with a good tune and a VNT

lol I must admit when I drive my Dads Discovery I find that I rev the guts out of it.
My point is with the right tuning at least with a manual they dont need to be revved hard

My 130 seems to have huge amounts of torque but no go at the top end... It get's to 90kmh reasonably swiftly but then it's a battle to get to 110kmh. Was the same b4 the 285's were fitted as well!

Ok, I just had mine remapped by IRB. Pulls straight to 4500 now without any complaints. I won't be driving like that all the time but interesting that a remap makes it rev easier.

    Hello,

Not really, I bought a good second hand ECU (early type) this was then chipped with a good well proven map based on the modifications I have before I arrived (Intercooler/vgt turbo) and we went for a few full throttle runs to set up the dual channel boost box.

    Going quite well now

    Steve
